Ellen Chisa

Ellen Chisa is now officially a transitioner*.  She graduated from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering on the 16th of May, and is now back at home.  For the next couple months you can expect updates on: a trip to Indonesia/Singapore/Australia, LASIK Eye Surgery, a trip to Boston, a trip to Italy, a trip to St. Louis, and then the great one-way journey of moving to Seattle.

In Seattle she will be having her next great adventure. She’ll be a PM on the team developing Office Mobile, and will hopefully be doing lots of crazy travel.  Of course, there will be side projects, including: founding a design firm with Nikki Lee, learning to fly airplanes, salsa dancing, and learning to ski.

You can still expect a motley collection of writing, except now it will paint the picture of a 22-year-old transitioner who loves books, writing, design, education, travel, scuba diving, questioning things, coffee, and music. It’ll be informed by her time at Olin, MIT, and Michigan, and founding Alight Learning during her time off. She’s up for any suggestions of other things to do during this two year period.

*Transitioner: n. An individual graduating from college and moving into their first career job.
